Hi there, welcome to Kaito! I’m Lia - mum, pilates lover, and the woman behind this brand.

And if I’m being honest Kaito didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a problem I just couldn’t solve. My days are full like, really full. Most mornings I’m at the gym or Pilates, then it’s errands, school pickup, a coffee catch up somewhere in between, and somehow also trying to get work done. Sound familiar? For years I was stuck in this exhausting cycle of changing outfits just to feel appropriate for the next thing on my list. Gym clothes to the shops felt too casual. “Normal” clothes to Pilates felt wrong. I was constantly in between and I was over it.

I wanted activewear that could actually keep up with my life. Something that moved with me from a sweaty studio session straight to a matcha with the girls, without me feeling underdressed or out of place. But more than that I wanted it to feel luxurious. Special. Like putting it on was a small act of self-care, not just getting dressed.
I looked everywhere. I couldn’t find it. So I created it. Kaito is designed for women who refuse to choose between comfort and style because why should you?
